Plan your trip

  • Here in Port Alberni there is one road in, and one road out (paved ones, anyways). Highway 4 will bring you right into Port Alberni. When driving on Highway 19 on the East side of Vancouver Island, take Exit #51 through Coombs or #60, which is also marked “Pacific Rim Highway”. Follow Highway 4 through Coombs, Whiskey Creek, Cathedral Grove, and over the hump into the Alberni Valley.

If using Google Maps, just type in “Port Alberni Fall Fair Grounds” and Google will take it from there (you still must steer, don’t forget to steer).

  • There are plenty of places to stay in Port Alberni, including on-site camping so you don’t miss a thing.

You can also check out nearby campgrounds like Timberlodge & RV, and Loon Lake.

For hotels, the Best Western, The Hospitality, and Riverside Motel are closest to the festival grounds, and there are lots more in town.

Buy a camping pass or explore other options, by visiting Alberni Valley Tourism

  • We highly recommend walking, biking, or taking the bus to the festival so you can fully enjoy your time there and not worry about parking, driving home, or collecting your car in the morning.

That said, there will be free parking available off of Vimy St., adjacent to the festival grounds next to the Glenwood Centre. Please note that acess via Hollywood St., will be closed.

  • Empty water bottles/containers, medical devices, snacks, small coolers, cigarettes/vapes, strollers, funky costumes, sweet (but small) signs, good vibes!

  • Weapons of any kind, outside beverages, drugs/narcotics, big umbrellas, glass bottles, noise makers, laser pointers, drones, and any other items deemed to be dangerous or inappropriate.
